It`s an ordinary Bible verse that you`ve probably heard or even said many times, « If two or three are gathered in my name, I`m in their midst. » We find it in Matthew 18:20, and people often use this verse when they want to agree with someone in prayer. Unfortunately, this is not the subject of this verse at all. God`s love and faithfulness are eternal, and His mercy is new every day. Let us love how He loves, forgives, forgives, seeks justice and mercy, and enjoys His many blessings as we treat things the Lord`s way. His path is always the best. Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha. It was Mary who anointed the Lord with an ointment and wiped her feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick. Then the sisters sent him and said, « Lord, he whom you love is sick. » But when Jesus heard him, he said, « This disease does not lead to death. It is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through him. Now Jesus loved Martha, his sister, and Lazarus. . And he said to his disciples: « The temptations to sin will surely come, but woe to the one through whom they come! You will make an altar of earth for me, and then you will sacrifice your burnt offerings and your sacrifices of peace, your sheep and your oxen.
Wherever I remember my name, I will come to you and bless you. This verse does not say that God is present when there are two or more people. Or that God gives what we ask when two or more people agree. Rather, it is a process that we must follow when there is a conflict and a promise that God is with us as we go through that process. It sounds good, but when you think about it, you start to hear discord. If God is only with us, if 2 or more believers are gathered, what happens if I pray alone? We know that whenever the Church worships and worships Christ, He is there, and we know that whenever a believer prays in private, He is there. – Webster`s Bible I also solemnly tell you that if two of you here on earth agree on anything, whatever they ask, the blessing of my Father who is in heaven will come to them.- Weymouth BibleNuch, I tell you with certainty that if two of you on earth agree on anything, what they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.- World English BibleEftsoone Y seie to you, that, if tweyne of you agree on the erthe, of your thing what your thei axen, il schal be don to hem of my fadir which is in heuenes.- Wycliffe Bible`Again, I say to you: That if two of you on earth agree on anything, whatever you ask, it will be done to them by my Father who is in heaven, – Young`s literal Bible In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
